Getting life done, one list at a time. |
Being in my early twenties, going to school full time, working part time, exercising everyday, and maintaining my relationship is a lot of work. Not to mention all my other goals like reading 10 books a year, playing with my dog, and keeping a house maintained. So I have THREE PLANNERS. Wooww, some people cringe at the thought of a task list. I thrive on the rewards of accomplishing goals and you can say I am getting life done, one list at a time. So last year, while doing all of that, I planned my wedding. Now I had minions to help with tasks, for sure, but I was the major factor in play. Anyone can do it and there are stresses and breakdowns, but in the end, I was so happy because it came out exactly how my husband and I wanted it.
I could have hired a wedding planner or involved my parents, but I knew what I wanted, and what my husband wanted. Our wedding was a party all about us! Who would be better at planning a party all about us than me! That is exactly how our wedding turned out. It was representation of our personalities through food, alcohol, music, speeches, and so much more. Through everything that went down, I was extremely happy with the result. I hope that some of the information I provided can diminish your stress and help you get started in planning your wedding, whether you choose to plan it alone, or with a team. Good luck, it will be beautiful no matter what!
